hi dave merry christmas to you and your family and pj,jamie we had a good time on the gold coast the surf was ok. thanks for fixing dads board it fell off the roof of the motorhome.were leaving today for curl curl,for the ocean@earth teenage rampage after that were driving around the south coast surfing and camping untill we arrive at bells for the kustom cadet cup and my first pro junior at bells beach so ill let you know how it goes and send some new photos of surf on the way so my boards a waxed and ready cant wait, so have a happy new year alex swadling

hi dave the surf has been pumping all week with this easterly swell,we had 6 + foot lefts and rights all week ,the new 5.11 sprint been powering,we getting ready to leave coffs for the ripcurl gromsearch at d bah ,on the way up we check out a few spots. so i see you latter today or tomorrow so talk to alex swadling

hi dave,the swell came up for a few days,and the surf was pumping.we had our last sawtell boardriders for the year,,in 6 foot + easterly swell at sawtell in the u16 ipicked up two bomb waves scoring a 9 and 8 so i won the under 16. in the opens i wasent a lucky with the waves. but it was still close, tommy 1st and me 3rd. so i was pretty happy with my surfing.my new 5-11 went geat in the bigger surf

sunpatch christmas party
hi dave we had the sunpatch christmas party on saturday night at the bowling alley. There were 30 of us and we all had to dress up as pirates or princess the photo is of me tommy,and mark and his baby. We bowled and eat until 11.00 pm that was when i went home.The surf has been ok in the mornings small but good shape.my training at martin dunn went great he showed us a lot of small adjustments with turns and airs. So it was great to attend. We talked to ben whos injured at the moment. My new boards go great i think having the nose narrower and the wigth less has made the board very lose.On my backhand it turns up much more vert. The ds7 is working out great. talk later alex swadling

hi dave my new board arrived the 5.11. i took it out at our last board riders of the year and went great the photo is from diggers the left in the corner,i just came back fron the train station as the train is 2 hours late going to old bar for the camp with martin dunn so the final event for the year and 2 of us were tied with the same points and we boath ride diverse boards and he won today and i came second it was soo close well ill let you know how the training goes alex swadling

Hawaii here we come
Diverse Team Rider Dale Richards is off to Hawaii today. He is staying there for a month on the North Shore! This is Dale's first trip to the rock... you can see the excited look on his face! i suppose it may have something to do with his shaper dropping of a load of new boards & goodies for the trip too!

hi guys this is a photo from wednesday at shellys the boards going great and carnt wait for my new sprint 5 11,the northeries have been blowing all weekend and the surf been rubbish so ive been fishing and swimming the water temp droped and wetsuits back on.this week iam catching the train down to old bar to a training camp with martin dunn for some coaching to tune up my comp surfing for the rip curl gromsearch,ocean@ earth tean age rampage at curl curl then to bells for the cadet cup,i hope the swell come up before the weekend for the camp so ill let you know how it goes on the weekend talk to you soon alex

hi dave on the weekend we had the teams chalange between boardriders clubs from woopi tp cresent heads i surfed for sewtell and we were overall winners $250 first prize for the club with coffs 2nd cresent 3rd it was very close and was decided with the tage team and we won by just 10 points,today sunday we had our coffs boardriders 5-6 foot light on shore difficult conditions with very lumpy swell i finished 2nd in the u16s and 4th in the u18s.so talk to you latter alex

alex swadling trip to cabarita gold coast
hi dave we left friday for the cabarita comp the boards went well got through a few rounds,we stayed in our motorhome,then in the morning we drove onto the barge to go over to south wall ballina as the northerly had pick up we had a bit of trouble getting off the barge as the toe ball got stuck in the barge ramp we took the toe ball off and go out of there with the barge driver happy to see the end of us the waves were small sucky lefts heaps of fun ,were back in coffs and the swell picked up 4 foot great lefts today its my sports day so iam surfing for sport talk to you soon alex swadling

hi the surf has been pumping at ulus 8 foot on the main peak 6+ through racetracks we been surfing 7 hours a day 40 people in the water cross shore winds ,we meat up with the wright family and have been surfing with them for the last 4 days so that been unreal it makes you really push your limints we have our last day tomorrow so were getting up early down to racetracks only 3 min drive from padang not looking forward to comming home ,my boards 5-11 and 5-10 have been unreal handling all surf conditions from ulus,balangan,kermas,chunggu,and not a crease in anythink so back to the beach breaks of coffs harbour so last report from bali tomorrow see u alex swadling

hi the surfs been a bit small the last few days and ive been sick the photo was taken at ulus 3 days ago we going to kermas in the morning 6am as the winds have been light and the swell is starting to rise late today so we may have some new photos the photo was of my 5,11 sprint rounded pintail that works unreal on the shallow racetracts sections i had lots of barrells this day so now that iam back online talk to latter alex swadling

Small surf but its nice
Fin little 2 footers at Tebiro this morning, it lacked power as most reefbreaks do when its small. its on the rise so we should be in for a couple good sessions soon. it was perfect little waves for a Twinnie. the crowd was up a little today as everyone tends to have monday and tuesday off. a lot of people work afternoons and nights in resturants.

this was a 100 metre walk worth of nice shells.... my little girls would have loved it here!

marine life are abundant with big snapper nibbling your feet as you swim... my Wife would love to see the variety of fish that were all the rainbow of colors.

worktime...
Worktime? Well maybe for some... There is so much flotsam & jetsam washed up on the beach after each swell. I have started to pick up a bag full each time i come back from the beach, maybe every little bit helps to make a difference. You never know it might catch on and be a cool thing to do. i spoke to Yukie & Nari about it, they had already arranged for many of their wedding guests to join in on a clean the beach morning just close to their house!

Friday and Saturdays forecast is for the smallest swell, and this is Fridays offering... this wave would be approximately 50cm from top to bottom. Amazingly beautiful morning to have a swim and walk on the beach!
dinner time
Dinner time withe Green Hill crew is a mixed bag of mostly natives and a couple westerners. the food is great even if your not sure what your eating!
