feedback from a happy Quad customer

g'day Dave & Crew,

a few fotos from recent mentawais boat trip. we scored amazing waves & weather for 2/3 of the trip! the boat (freedom III) was so sick, champion aussie skipper nailed it, putting us on uncrowded perfection. The food was gourmet and the crew added to the daily 'goodtimes'! The weather turned pretty rad for the last 3-4 days, making even a 76' boat feel pretty small! Highlights were surfing secret right-hander, green bush, a pig hunt and the costume party! Cheers for the insane Quad

stoked Mitch

Quads may just change your Day!

Quads have been around for a long time now..
I have always had a few in my private testing collection...

Daniel Binskin
"Hey Dave , I rode that new 6'0 demo quad today . The one with the pulled on tail with green and black checkers on it . I want it . Please sell it to me . "

Daves reply... in short. no sorry mate. there is a newie on the shelf made from the same file. that one you rode is a demo at present but i colored it specific for a movie project i have coming up in a couple of weeks.. and i want to ride it some more too!

Daniel Binskin
"Hey Dave , I bought the board off the shelf today . It looks a bit ugly but goes unreal . I take back everything I said about quads. I am genuinely excited about going surfing on it again . Stoked ! "

My Sprint in Lombok

From: "Woodberry, Jake"
Hey Dave
How's things? Loving surfing the sprint, they seem to turn with plenty of
speed regardless of wave quality.
Here's my 6'4" on an average wave off south Lombok.
Cheers jake

Feedback on the Monster Mullet

Dave,
just some feedback on my monster mullet I purchased several months
ago. Went to Bali in March/April for the first time in 23 years & it
went unreal at Ulu in the varying conditions (2ft to 5ft) - surfed
virtually every day for 2-3 hours at Ulu & felt like I was in my teens
again not a 49 year old !
Regards,
Chris Locke

My own graphixx on my surfboards

hey dave.

Hey Dave,

I bought a 6'2 shorty from you a while ago and finally was able to ride it in Bali a week or so ago. So happy with it, I wouldn't have wanted to ride anything else that day. Some 2-3 ft sliders at ulus was super fun. Had to send you a pic. I'll be in your shop in the next few weeks to try get my hands on one of your DK Kwads.

cheers,

Feedback re: DK Quad stock in bali shops

Hey Dave,
Thanks for the tip, I took the chance and went to Bali yesterday. In
the Toke Shop, I found exactly the board I had ordered from you: 6'3
DK quadfin. Had my first session at Halfway this morning and the board
is just perfect!
Gotta go back to Jakarta tonight, but that one-day board shopping and
surfing trip to Bali was just worth it!
Thanks again,
Sampai jumpa.

Feedback from Tasmania

Hey Dave
How's it going?
Here's the round up from all the East Coast surf we got last week.
That's me on the backhand on the first shot of the Sleeping Giant Awakes! i'm on the 6'8" turbo and it went unreal.
It's a shame the shot was taken in the arvo when the swell backed off a little and the wind came up a bit.
But hey there were only 3 of us out and was still heaps of fun.
Got a couple more orders coming through this week apparently so you'll here from me soon.
Keep those boards coming

Cheers for the Quad Dave...

Hi Dave,
Thanx for building this great board.. In the usualy small and gutless surf here in the Netherlands this puppy just goes sweet! I bought it last october after I've had testdriven a DQ6 and a DK6. Frank from CellBlock in Utrecht pretty much challenged me into trying one. He figured I would get 20% more waves and way more fun than on my standard shortboard(6'2 18-1/2 2-1/2) in the dutch surf. Too bad he was wrong.. I actually get almost 50% more waves and heaps more fun than ever imagined just by changing boards.. so it's working out realy well. While testing I found the DQ to responded better to the smaller wave conditions than the DK which needs more steepness on the face to accelerate. The DQ allows you to catch a wave early and setup a good line down the face and accelerate smoothly. All in all heaps of fun in a tiny package :-)

feedback for our Classic longboard

Hi Dave,

I bought a 9'4" blue Classic from you on Sunday and thought I'd drop a line re the ride – it's brilliant! Not have ridden for over 30 yrs, I was really unsure how I'd go. The classic is soooo easy for catching waves and, after about 3 or 4 waves, I was turning and sliding across the face of some magic little stuff at Broken Head. The board exceeded my expectations. I've still got such a long way to go but I'm really glad I've taken this first step – thankyou.

Hey Dave, my name is mitch.

We met in late november last year in the shop when i trialled, ur twin and quad fish models. which i instantly loved and immediately purchased a 5' 9' quad. Just wanted to say, man i love this board!

I have surfed it in a range of conditions and swells and it has performed sweetly.... during a recent cyclone up here in karratha, it really pumped in the solid swells and am keen to take out to the reefs of the montebellos in june. I have tuned the boys in on your boards and equipment and we are thinking of ordering some DK quad models for this trip. If I order a board can you organise to send over here to WA??

Spewin i missed the fish fry, looked like a great event!

Have attached a foto my son's first wave at the alley on your diverse quad fish!

All the best, keep up the good work!
